June L. Anderson, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 18, 1919, in Corona, Calif. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gayle; and one daughter, Linda Anderson of Kingman, Ariz.
Private services were arranged by Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Veva J. Bahr
Veva J. Bahr, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 8, 1928, in Wisconsin. A resident for two years, she was a retired nurse's aide.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce L. Scott, and one son, Ralph Bahr, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services and burial will be in Rockford, Ill. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is arranging a private visitation.
Morris Bell III
Morris Bell III, 21, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 12, 1977, in Arizona. A resident for nine years, he was a cook.
He is survived by one son, Dashon; one daughter, Lavender; his mother, Sonia; his father, Morris Bell Sr.; and three brothers, Johnny Taylor, Bobby Taylor and Kristopher Bell.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Darnell Brown
Darnell Brown, 38, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 29, 1960, in Wichita, Kan. A resident for 28 years, he was a Clark County firefighter for 10 years, a member of the Unified Firefighters Association, coached Pop Warner football for many years, was a member of the Nevada Youth Football League and the Professional Black Firefighters Association.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda; three sons, D'Anthony Brown, Savonta Porter and Devin Brown, and his mother, Earnestine Peoples, all of Las Vegas; his father, King Brown of Wichita; two sisters, Sandra Peoples of Las Vegas and Kim Tuggle of Wichita; and four brothers, Keith Brown of Los Angeles, Kevin Turner of Ventura, Calif., Buck Brown of Wichita and Barry Turner of Las Vegas.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main.
Richard Casey
Richard Casey, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Milwaukee. A resident for 30 years, he was an Air Force senior master sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran, a member of Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Retired Sun City Military and Friends Club, Sun City Security Patrol and Stroke of Luck Support Club of Sun City.
He is survived by his wife, Mitsue S.; one son, Frank Casey of Las Vegas; two daughters, Gloria Rush of Masawa Air Force Base, Japan, and Joyce Casey of Phoenix; and five grandchildren.
Services will be 9 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
J.C. Daniels III
J.C. Daniels III, 21, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1978, in Louisiana. A resident for four years, he was a painter in the construction industry, a 1997 Chaparral High School graduate and an apprentice in the Painters Union.
He is survived by his father, J.C. Daniels II; his mother, Jackie Joyce; and one sister, Trudy Joyce.
Visitation is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
August P. 'Jack' Dragish
August P. 'Jack' Dragish, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local convalescent hospital. He was born Dec. 27, 1907, in Ironwood, Mich. A resident for 29 years, he was a retired automotive pipefitter and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by two daughters, Anna Hitchcock of North Las Vegas and Evelyn Ketcham of Reno; one son, George Wallis of Newport, Mich.; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern.
Richard Lee Hayward
Richard Lee Hayward, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; one son, James Howard; two daughters, Michele Tate and Barbara Hayward; five brothers, Louis, Norman, Lee Roy, Ronald and Kenneth; six sisters, Sharon, Donna, LaRue, Phyllis, Velma and Bernice; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Martin Horan
Martin Horan, 88, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1910, in Avoca, Pa. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired turbine engineer at an electrical plant.
He is survived by his wife, Ninette; four daughters, Rosemarie Michales and Ruth Ann Downs, both of Carteret, N.J., Carol Ann Zeigler of Las Vegas and Rosalie Wudarski of South Amboy, N.J.; two sons, Martin J. Horan Jr. of Carteret and Charles Phillip of Auburn, N.Y.; one sister, Theresa Reddy of Connecticut; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Gilbert H. Johnson
Gilbert H. Johnson, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. He was born May 5, 1915, in Alliance, Neb. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired casino supervisor, a member of the Masons, Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite Bodies and Kerak Shrine.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Patricia Shumway of Grantsville, Utah, and Loretta Walker of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. A private burial will follow.
The family suggests donations to Desert Chapter 22 OES for Cancer Research, Boulder City.
Alice Rachel Kimberlin
Alice Rachel Kimberlin, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 14, 1918, in Indianapolis. A resident for six years, she was a retired executive secretary at an insurance agency for 15 years and a member of the Eastern Star in Indiana.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Ensz of Kansas City, Kan., and Sally Weekes of Las Vegas; one sister, Ruth Merrill of Noblesville, Ind.; and five grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
LeMoyne Ethel Marron
LeMoyne Ethel Marron, 92, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 14, 1906, in Emporia, Kan. A resident for 55 years, she was a retired Henderson Cab Co. owner-operator for many years, a retired employee of Henderson Telephone Co. and a ballroom gold dancer with Arthur Murray Studios where she won many awards.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty J. Dranow of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Leona M. Danforth of Medford, Ore.; one son, Ernest A. Lea Jr. of Reno; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Jalal D. Omran
Jalal D. Omran, 60, of Henderson, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Israel. A resident for 38 years, he was a retired school district supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Angeleanta; one daughter, LaGracella Omran of Henderson; three sons, Jamealdolensiano Omran of Las Vegas, Dartiniano Omran of Bossier City, La., and Javondelamore Omran of Henderson; three sisters, Noel Sahourieh and Soud "Sue" Omran, both of San Francisco, and Halaii Bizanis of Greece; two brothers, George Omran and Fouad Omran, both of San Francisco; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Palm Mortuary and 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church, followed by burial at Palm Memorial Park.
Henry Lee Regan
Henry Lee Regan, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 12 years, he was a police officer and a World War II and Korean War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Henry L. Regan Jr. and Anthony R. Regan, two daughters, Gayle J. Dodson and Vannessa A. Regan, and one stepson, David West, all of Las Vegas; three brothers, John Regan and George Jones, both of Brooklyn, and Ronald Regan of the Bronx, N.Y.; two sisters, Cordelia Jacobs of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Katherine Yancy of Amherst, Va.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Vegas View Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Terry Roy
Terry Roy, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 3, 1935, in St. Agathe, Manitoba. A resident for six years, he was a retired maintenance supervisor in the printing industry and a member of Craig Ranch Golf Club.
He is survived by his wife, Beverley; one son, Scott Roy of Las Vegas; one daughter, Kimberly Washington of Germany; two brothers, Marcel Roy and Alphonse Roy, and one sister, Irene Bisson, all of Manitoba; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Dr. Cecil C. Thorpe
Dr. Cecil C. Thorpe, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born June 18, 1908, in Washington, D.C. A resident for 11 years, he was an osteopathic physician/surgeon and a lifetime member of the American Osteopathic Association.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Miller-Thorpe.

Dana Lavette Thomas
Dana Lavette Thomas, 21, of Las Vegas died Feb. 11 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 12, 1977, in Pontiac, Mich. A resident for 12 years, she was a saleswoman and a junior worker for That's What Friends Are For.
She is survived by two sons, Deitrick T. Thomas and DaySeandre Bell; her father, LeRoy Thomas; her mother, Pamela Thomas Glenn; four sisters, Danielle Thomas, Dionne Cooper, Danecha Thomas and Dawn Thomas; her grandmother, Harriet Glenn; and many other relatives.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Friday in Harrison-Ross. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Jerome Seymour Tupler
Jerome Seymour Tupler, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A retired video tape salesman, he was born July 31, 1928, in Illinois.
He is survived by one son, Larry Tupler of Durham, N.C.; and one brother, Harold Tupler of Las Vegas.

Kenneth J. Waldo
Kenneth J. Waldo, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born April 23, 1908, in Wiscoy, Minn. A resident for 39 years, he was a Clark County School District inspector.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby C.; three sons, James Waldo of Winona, Minn., William Waldo of Corona Delmar, Calif., and Thomas Waldo of Las Vegas; two daughters, Janet McGahan and Karen Sara, both of Las Vegas; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bright Angel Church of Christ, 8570 W. Bright Angel. A private burial will follow. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Willie Wilson
Willie Wilson, 74, of Las Vegas died Feb. 10 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 2, 1924, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 44 years, he was a carpenter.
He is survived by four daughters, Sylvia Wilson-Hardmon of Las Vegas and Janet Wilson, Cynthia Wilson and Alice Wilson, all of California; four sons, Marcus Wilson, Willie Wilson Jr. and Robert Wilson Smith, all of California, and Curtis L. Wilson of Las Vegas; 37 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be noon Saturday in New Light Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Nina June ZiniNina June Zini, 83, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born June 2, 1915, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Schwartz of Piedmont, Calif., and Diane Stonex of Las Vegas; one son, Bruce Zini of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
