Northwest flight returns after engine shuts down

Adam Mayberry, a spokesman for Reno-Tahoe International Airport, said the Boeing 727 landed safely. None of the 137 passengers on board was injured.
He said Northwest managed to put some passengers on other airlines while others were expected to be put up overnight in Reno.
Mayberry could not confirm reports that the plane dumped its load of fuel before landing, but said that was fairly routine in such cases to lighten the craft.
