Gene W. Ashley, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1924, in Freeport, Ill. A resident for 55 years, he was a retired city constable, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by three sons, Paul Ashley, William Ashley and Caesar Ashley, and one daughter, Veronica Ashley, all of Las Vegas; seven other children; several brothers and sisters; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Joseph A. Breiter Sr.

Joseph A. Breiter Sr., 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A retired steam fitter in the construction industry and an Army veteran, he was born Dec. 24, 1915.

He is survived by one son, Joseph A. Breiter Jr. of Pennsylvania.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Joseph Concialdi

Joseph Concialdi, 82, of Las Vegas died Jan. 17 in a local hospital. A resident for many years, he was born July 11, 1916.

Graveside services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Marie E. Cox

Marie E. Cox, 83, of Henderson died Tuesday in Boulder City. She was born Nov. 14, 1915, in Los Angeles. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Patricia M. Cox, and one brother, John Lymo, both of Henderson; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

Erma Dowler

Erma Dowler, 57, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born May 19, 1941, in Portland, Ind. A resident for 23 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; one daughter, Tami Campbell, and one son, Scot Dowler, both of Henderson; two brothers, William Morgan Jr. of Tipton, Ind., and Bryce Morgan of Chesterton, Ind.; one sister, Martha Mae Morgan of Marion, Ind.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be noon Friday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Jack Einstoss

Jack Einstoss, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 1, 1938, in New York City. A resident for six years, he was an automobile repair shop owner and a Vietnam-era Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy S.; and one son, Neal Richard Einstoss of Las Vegas.

David L. Fry

David L. Fry, 47, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Dec. 20, 1951, in Artesia, Calif. A resident for eight years, he was a college cafeteria worker.

He is survived by his mother, Willa Fry, and one sister, Denise Jensen, both of Henderson; and two brothers, Roger Fry of Henderson and Gary Fry of Delta, Colo.

A memorial service was scheduled at 2 p.m. today in the Ocean Street LDS Chapel. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangements.

Ila D. Hill

Ila D. Hill, 70, of Boulder City died Sunday in Boulder City. She was born May 13, 1928, in Gregory, S.D. A resident for 34 years, she was a retired gas company clerk.

She is survived by one daughter, Roxann Hill of Henderson; one son Randal Hill of Las Vegas; and her mother, Kathryn Allstot of Fairview, Mont.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm's Boulder City Mausoleum. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Dale E. Johnson

Dale E. Johnson, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born March 29, 1926, in Clarion, Iowa. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired power motor operator and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Clifford Johnson of Tujunga, Calif.; one daughter, Terrie Spell of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one sister, Bette Hudson of Pahrump; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Viola P. Johnson

Viola P. Johnson, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born June 12, 1917, in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired dealer.

She is survived by one son, Jarrel Johnson of Moriarity, N.M.; one daughter, Shelly Johnson of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Barbara Lukenbill

Barbara Lukenbill, 75, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 17, 1923, in San Jose, Calif. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Shawn Lavery and Patrick French, both of Henderson; one sister, Ardene Wallace of Seattle; one brother, Chuck Howes of Loyalton, Calif.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Willa Lois Manley

Willa Lois Manley, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 19, 1928, in Partridge, Ky. A resident for nine years, she was a retired restaurant manager and a member of the Boulder City Art Guild.

She is survived by one son, Bruce Childers of Lakeside, Mont.; one sister, Hazel Adams of Lexington, Ky.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arthur H. Martens

Arthur H. Martens, 79, of Mukilteo, Wash., died Sunday in Mukilteo. He was a former Las Vegas resident.

He is survived by one son, Vern of Mukilteo; one daughter, Arlette of Mundelein, Ill.; five sisters, Inez, Jerry, Glennis, Evelyn and Frances; two brothers, Dale and Don; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. Cremation Society Northwest, Lynwood, Wash., is handling arrangements.

Frances Alice Morgan

Frances Alice Morgan, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born July 25, 1910, in Kankakee, Ill. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired Flamingo Hilton cashier.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice R. Standley of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. services until 7 p.m. Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

John Kenneth Pace

John Kenneth Pace, 39, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 27, 1959, in Great Britain. A resident for 10 years, he was a laborer for an electric utility and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea; two sons, Jared Pace and Jonathon Pace; one daughter, Krystal Pace; and his father, Fletcher Pace.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Cheryl Lee Plemons

Cheryl Lee Plemons, 36, of Las Vegas died Feb. 10 in Las Vegas. A resident for 15 years, she was born April 26, 1962, in Twentynine Palms, Calif.

She is survived by one son, Angel Sanchez, her mother, Shirley Plemons of Hartford, Conn.; her father, Norman Plemons, one sister, Norma Sigretto, and one brother, Edward Plemons, all of Las Vegas.

Doris V. Pritchard

Doris V. Pritchard, 98, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born March 30, 1900, in Palestine, Texas. A resident for more than 50 years, she was a homemaker, past state president of American War Mothers, a Gold Star Mother who lost her only son in World War II and was a very dedicated choir member at the Vegas Valley Christian Church.

She is survived by one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Boulder City Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Evelyn Elizabeth Raber

Evelyn Elizabeth Raber, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born June 21, 1916, in Mineola, N.Y. A resident for five years, she was a retired apartment complex manager and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Harms of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard T. Smith of Atlanta; four sisters, Marie Mortier of Florida and Madeline Dandona, Shirley Hymes and Anne Pottle, all of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Willis L. Russell

Willis L. Russell, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1916, in Fairbury, Neb. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired manager of a natural gas company, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Ann Hall and Beverly Oestmann, both of Eagle, Neb.; one son, John Russell of Henderson; one sister, Ruth Skeen of Denver; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Dorothy Vine, 82, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1917, in New Orleans. A resident for 50 yeas, she was a retired waitress and a member of the Culinary Union.

She is survived by three sons, David W. Wood of Sacramento, James E. Vine of Kingman, Ariz., and John M. Vine of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

W.W. 'Bill' White

W.W. "Bill" White, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born July 21, 1909, in Killeen, Texas. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired resort entrepreneur and a member of the Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by one daughter, Gloria Ann Winters of Chatsworth, Calif.; one son, John P. White of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
