Letter: Southern Nevada college student deserve fair share

I, like many of my friends and neighbors are happy to see someone finally talking about this issue. While a study of the whole funding might be good to get to the truth, if it ends up being a government study that takes forever, and ends up coming to no conclusion, it is a waste of time.

Let's be fair, impartial and expeditious in addressing this. No one wants to see any college or university punished, but the problem needs to be confronted.

What I am amazed at is where are all of the Southern Nevada elected officials on this? And why aren't more of them speaking out? The fact is they were elected to represent us, and I would like them to take a more pro-active stance.
