SENIORS
Diane Hopkins-Weiss of Trimerdian, Inc. will discuss the effects of gambling on the senior population.
The cost of registration is $1, including a light lunch.

Fox, a Los Angeles resident, is well-known throughout Nevada for his involvement with arts organizations, including 11 years as executive director of the Nevada Arts Council.
Artists interested in the competition, must be 55 or older. Entries are limited to one per category and must be turned in at the Charlestown Heights Art Center, 800 S. Brush St. on March 17 or 18 from 1 to 8:30 p.m.
Winners will be announced at a public reception in the center's ballroom on March 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. Their artwork will be then be on display throughout the city for the next eight months.
RECREATION
The annual Leisure Awareness Fair is designed to inform the public of the leisure services the city offers.
Activities and entertainment include dance demonstrations, a jazz band, karate and gymnastics. Call 229-6297.
