Body found in trunk may be that of missing New York man
Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999 | 2:44 a.m.
A Laughlin police officer stopped a vehicle about 6 p.m. Tuesday after a computer check showed the car was registered to a man reported missing under suspicious circumstances.
The officer questioned the driver, Michael Bradley, 38, then opened the trunk and found the body.
Police Lt. Wayne Petersen said the victim is believed to be a 50-year-old from Pittsford, N.Y.
Petersen said Bradley is a former roommate of the missing man.
Bradley was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a murder charge.
The man was reported missing after his landlord went to check on him and found his apartment covered with blood on Monday, Petersen said. Neighbors first noticed the man missing around Feb. 6.
