A 31-year-old Fresno, Calif., resident died in a single-car accident early Monday on Interstate 15 south of Jean.
Sangha Karanjit Singh was a passenger in a 1983 Mercedes that for an unknown reason went out of control shortly before 3:30 a.m. while traveling south, Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Scott Flabi said.
Singh was thrown from the car as it left the roadway and rolled. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Flabi said the driver of the car, Harminder Bhamra, 24, also of Fresno, is in fair condition at University Medical Center.
