Lowe's on Monday announced plans to build a store on 14 acres in Las Vegas at the northeast corner of Buffalo Drive and Summerlin Parkway. It also announced plans for two other stores in the Los Angeles area.
The Los Angeles Times reported Lowe's also plans a distribution center in Moreno Vellay to serve stores in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona.
North Carolina-based Lowe's revealed plans last year to build 100 stores in California, Nevada and Arizona over the next three to four years to compete with Home Depot, HomeBase and local hardware and home improvement stores.
