Man arrested, charged in theft

A joint investigation by Metro Police and the FBI has resulted in the arrest of a man in connection with the theft of an automated teller machine from a northwest Las Vegas credit union.
Tad Allan Maserang has been arrested on a charge of bank larceny for the Jan. 7 theft of an ATM from Network Federal Credit Union at 2699 N. Tenaya Way, FBI officials said.
A criminal complaint states Maserang stole the ATM and took it to a garage at 3748 N. Torrey Pines Drive.
