Vegas in running for 2002 Hispanic convention

Chamber president George Herrera said Wednesday he doesn't think Las Vegas has any negative aspects.
Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Hawaii are vying for the convention.
Herrera said his organization is looking at more than just economical room rates. He said the organization wants communities that are open to supporting and promoting Hispanic business.
