Senator contacts minority leader on growth ideas

"I have a bill to require that zoning has to comply with the master plan," said Titus, D-Las Vegas. "If I got nothing else but that, it would be good."
Titus said she was encouraged by the effort by Porter, R-Henderson, to include her in the effort to find solutions to southern Nevada's growth problems - particularly after Gov. Kenny Guinn and Senate Majority Leader Bill Raggio of Reno said they wouldn't consider any of her ideas unless approved by the Southern Nevada Strategic Planning Authority.
