Point, click and presto, you're an informed voter.
The city of Las Vegas has added an election guide to its website, allowing residents 24-hour access to everything from ward boundaries, campaign expense reports and poll locations.
The election information is accessible from the city's main website: http:// www.ci.las-vegas.nv.us by clicking on the waving American flag marked Elections.
"The whole idea is that it's out there for people when they need answers on something. It's available 24 hours," City Clerk Barbara Jo Ronemus said.
Potential candidates can find filing dates, requirements and political sign regulations.
Voters can find out when and how to register, where to vote and how to get an absentee ballot.
This is the first time such information has been on the web.
"More people now are utilizing the Internet," Ronemus said. "Before I don't even know if it would have been practical. Now, it's a definite added service for people."
Computer users can also download Nevada's code on judicial conduct, the city's municipal code and the Nevada Revised Statutes from the website.
Voters can visit the site for up-to-the-minute tallies and results of the primary on May 4 and the general election June 8.
