Thomas E. Ashby, 49, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born June 14, 1949, in Jonesboro, Ark. A resident for 3 1/2 years, he was a computer company division manager and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Cheri; one daughter, Melissa Ashby of Las Vegas; three sons, Shaun Baker of South Carolina, Steven Baker of California and Kevin Ashby of San Antonio; and one brother, Micky Ashby of Marked Tree, Ariz.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Roy E. Baughman
Roy E. Baughman, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 12, 1913, in Ranger, Texas. A resident for six years, he was a retired vice president of sales for stationary and school supplies.
He is survived by one daughter, Jeanette Lewis of California City, Calif.; three sons, Roy E. Baughman Jr. of San Clemente, Calif., and Robert Baughman and Richard Baughman, both of Boulder City; one sister, Julia Mock of Los Angeles; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
Arnold Chadburn
Arnold Chadburn, 85, of Goodsprings died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 14, 1913, in Veyo, Utah. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired hard rock miner.
He is survived two sons, William A. Chadburn of Henderson and Larry E. McEntire of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; one daughter, Clidene M. Campbell of St. George, Utah; four brothers, Norman Chadburn of Marana, Ariz., Elmer Chadburn of Veyo, Sherman Chadburn of St. George and Fred Chadburn of Marana; two sisters, Thelma Reidhead of Veyo and Venna Ann Peterson of Lynden, Utah; 11 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Toquerville Cemetery, Toquerville, Utah.
Joan B. Christensen
Joan B. Christensen, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 6, 1934, in Monroe, Mich. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, William R.; six daughters, Mary Ann Amador, Marcy Cherek, Tracy Lamonica and Christina Christensen, all of Las Vegas, Jeanne Deseran of Chino, Calif., and Anita Deamaral of Salinas, Calif.; one son, Michael Christensen of Las Vegas; five sisters, Edna Cooley, Lucille Mueller, Marian Brant, Marilyn Paielli and Kathryn Maniaci; two brothers, Dwight Durocher and Mark Durocher; and 16 grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled from 1 p.m. until a 3 p.m. rosary today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 5 p.m. today in St. Anne Catholic Church, 1901 S. Maryland Parkway. Graveside services will be 11:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
Marie H. Colletti
Marie H. Colletti, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 17, 1918, in Dallas. A resident for five years, she was a beautician.
She is survived by her husband, Peter; one daughter, Yvonne Branch of Henderson; one son, Frank Colletti of Las Vegas; one brother, Joe Messina of Lawndale, Calif.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.
Joan M. Concannon
Joan M. Concannon, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 6, 1927, in Illinois. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired bookkeeper in the health care industry, a past Toastmistress and PTA president.
She is survived by her husband, James; three sons, Jeffrey Concannon of Castro Valley, Calif., and John Concannon and Joseph "J" Concannon, both of Las Vegas; two daughters, Jill Concannon of Darwell, Alberta, and Joy Burleson of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:15 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Ruth H. Drashcovich
Ruth H. Drashcovich, 69, of Henderson died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 15, 1929, in Brighton, Colo. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker and a former claims associate for Hartford Insurance.
She is survived by her husband, Michael E.; one daughter, Cynthia N. Drashcovich of Las Vegas; one son, Michael R. Drashcovich of Norfolk, Va.; four brothers, Howard Humphreys of Henderson, Louis Humphreys of Longmont, Colo., James Humphreys of Grand Junction, Colo., and Harry Humphreys of Kennewick, Wash.; and two sisters, Elizabeth Humphreys and Guenn Williams, both of Longmont.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

William C. Eichhorn, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 30, 1926, in Roosevelt, N.Y. A resident for less than one year, he was a retired grocer.
He is survived by one brother, Edward Eichhorn of Las Vegas.

Hazel M. Eklund
Hazel M. Eklund, 90, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local convalescent hospital. She was born April 24, 1908, in Duluth, Minn. A resident for 48 years, she was a retired executive secretary in the banking industry.
She is survived by one brother, Roy N. Eklund of Las Vegas; and three nieces, Lois Farmer of Alice Springs, Australia, and JoEllen Leitch and Valerie Brower, both of Las Vegas.

Alice Marie Gemini, 58, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 29, 1940, in Illinois. A resident for 5 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; three daughters, Virginia Perina, Laura Theros and Marie Gemini, all of Las Vegas; three sons, Joseph Gemini, Anthony Gemini and Michael Gemini, and three sisters, Antonette Perillo, Katie Bellucio and Loretta Tittle, all of Chicago; and four grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Murphy; two daughters, Danyelle Nichole Smith of North Las Vegas and Tara Murphy of Las Vegas; one son, Joshua Murphy of Las Vegas; her father, Leon Farar of Adalanto, Calif.; one sister, Bonnie Farar of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

T.D. Kocher
T.D. Kocher, 1, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 7, 1997, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his parents, Vicki and Thomas Kocher, one brother, Timothy Kocher, and one sister, Kristin Kocher, both of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, LaVeta Gowens of San Bernardino, Calif., and Glenn and Mary Jean Kocher of Follansbee, W.Va.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Nancy Lewis, 91, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 23, 1907, in Denver. A resident for two years, she was a retired secretary.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith Dickinson of Las Vegas; two grandsons, David Dickinson of Los Angeles and Brian Dickinson of Las Vegas; one granddaughter, Ann Marlow of Sparks; and two great-grandchildren.

Ethel Lieb, 85, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born Sept. 9, 1913, in Russia. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired legal stenographer for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Bennie; one daughter, Iris Popick of North Borough, Mass.; one brother, Daniel Elgin of Hayward, Calif.; and one grandchild.

James Alexander Lucas
James Alexander Lucas, 79, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 13, 1919, in Waterbury, Conn. A resident for more than six years, he was a retired film editor for the federal government, a World War II Army veteran, a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and member and past vice commander of the American Legion in Philadelphia.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; two sons, James D. Lucas and Patrick Lucas, both of Henderson, and Diane Reyes of Apple Valley, Calif.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled noon until 1 p.m. services Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Phillip Paul Ramirez
Phillip Paul Ramirez, 41, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan 5, 1958, in Panama City, Fla. A resident for 15 years, he was a school bus driver.
He is survived by his wife, Venus; two sisters, Beatrice Gonzales and Cathy Guerin, both of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Josephine Castro of Kansas City, Kan., and Guadalupe Ramirez of Kansas City, Mo.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11 .m. Friday in Unity Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Tami Rishmawy, 39, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born March 15, 1959, in Santa Clara, Calif. A resident for three years, she was an apartment leasing agent, a member of the Placentia Women's Club-Roundtable and the Toastmasters.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; her parents, Prentis and Judy Porter of Placentia, Calif.; one brother, Clayton Porter of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and one sister, Trina Porter of Yorba Linda, Calif.

James Weakley, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday. He was born Dec. 24, 1933, in Oklahoma City. A resident for seven years, he was a restaurant purchasing agent and a member of the Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; one son, Steven Weakley of Madison, Wis.; his mother, Mary Lou Weakley of Geneva, Ill.; and one brother, John Weakley of Plainfield, N.J.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Margaret 'Micki' Wendt
Margaret "Micki" Wendt, 67, of Fairfield Glade, Tenn., died Dec. 27. She was born June 7, 1931, in Galien, Mich. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a cocktail waitress at the Frontier hotel-casino for 22 years, a member of the Culinary Union, a union steward and owned the Wonder Bar on Las Vegas Boulevard.
She was preceded in death by one son, Andy.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Wendt of Fairfield Glade; four daughters, Jacqueline Adams of Peoria, Ill., Diana Kendall of Lakeside, Mich., Teri Washburn of Whitewater, Kan., Cindy Davis of Fairfield Glade; one son, Robert Wendt of Kalamazoo, Mich.; her mother, Emily Scurlock Harris of Las Vegas; five sisters; two brothers; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
