Letter: Congress bunch of cheats, liars

Cheats, liars, two-faced, sneaky, untrustworthy, shameless. They have shown themselves to be all of the above.

They allow the tobacco companies to kill thousands of people without sending their presidents off to prison, because they got $40 million or $50 million in campaign funds. Didn't these same congressmen take an oath when they were sworn in to uphold the Constitution? They broke this oath when they allowed the tobacco companies to buy them off. That is just one case of their bad leadership.

Another example of the congressional leadership's deviant ways is how they participated with Kenneth Starr, Linda Tripp and Lucianne Goldberg in framing the president. No wonder so many people don't vote. It took me a long time to finally see the light!
