Mark Juliano, 43, has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Mirage's $1 billion, 2,000-room casino hotel.
"It's a whole new set of challenges and I'm really, really excited," he said Thursday. "Everybody's goal is to have the project change the Atlantic City experience."
Juliano, who had been with Caesars for 12 years, plans to remain chairman of the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority.
Audrey Oswell, 42, the executive vice president and general manager at Caesars, was named the new president and chief operating officer. She has been with Caesars for 20 years.
Ground-breaking is scheduled this fall for Mirage's marina district project. The casino hotel is to open in mid-2002.
