In a form filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Manning & Napier Advisors Inc., of New York, said it owns 6,245,626 shares of IGT, or 5.78 percent of the company. In IGT's proxy statement filed with the SEC Jan. 19, Manning & Napier was listed as owning 6,294,200 shares, or 5.83 percent of the company.

A Manning & Napier spokeswoman declined to comment on the shares, or to confirm whether they were sold or disposed of in another manner.
