Letter: Giving away land for golf course is a mistake

I know Walters is very generous in his contributions to politicians and publicly aired causes but let me remind you of one thing: You can have your big casinos with perks for the high-rollers, but you would be nothing without the backbone of Las Vegas workers who keep them in operation without lavish pay.
I have played many of the Las Vegas courses, often with dealers and other casino workers who need recreation of this choice just like anybody else. Now where can they afford to play? Doesn't anybody care?
Las Vegas, take care of your own. Stop this insane giveaway!
