Keith B. Bell
Keith B. Bell, 52, of Henderson died Friday in a Barstow hospital. He was born Aug. 3, 1947, in Long Beach, Calif. A resident for two years, he was a health food salesman.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela; two daughters, Stephanie Hall of Victorville, Calif., and Laura Faraci of Sacramento; one son, Keith Bell II of Henderson; his father, James Bell of Las Vegas; one brother, James Bell Jr. of San Diego; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by Affordable Cremation and Burial Service.
Stephon Aaron Brown Sr.
Stephon Aaron Brown Sr., 36, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born June 24, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio. A resident for nine years, he was a cab driver.
He is survived by his wife, Janell; three daughters, Angela McDowell, Marissa Risewick, and Elizabeth Risewick, all of Las Vegas; four sons, Ryan Risewick, Anthony Risewick, Stephon Brown Jr. and Stephen Brown, all of Las Vegas; his mother, Annie Brown, one sister, Brenda Brown, five brothers, Jeffery Brown, Robert Brown, Ronald Brown, Donald Brown and John Brown, all of Dayton; and one grandchild.
Visitation was scheduled from 1 until 3 p.m. services today at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Vicente Cisneros
Vicente Cisneros, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 10, 1925, in Mexico. A resident for 18 months, he was a retired supervisor in the garment industry.
He is survived by his wife, Elenora; two daughters, Florina Cerecedo of Las Vegas and Rocio Rodriguez of Armona, Calif.; two sons, Roman Mendoza and Alejandro Cisneros, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Guadalupe Cisneros and Raquel Sanchez, both of Mexico; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lone Mountain Baptist Church.
Bert Dennis Coe
Bert Dennis Coe, 46, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 21, 1953, in Fort Ord, Calif. A resident for 41 years, he was an automobile mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, one daughter, Tiffany Lynn Coe, and one son, Bert Dennis Coe Jr., all of Henderson; one sister, Rose Marie Greve of Las Vegas; three brothers, Nathan L. Coe and Marlan J. Coe of Orem, Utah, and Kevin P. Coe of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Friday, with an 11 a.m. service in the Ocean Street LDS Chapel, 19 Ocean Street, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson is handling arrangements.
The family requests donations be made to the National Marfan Foundation, 382 Main St., Port Washington, N.Y. 11050.
Carol Bowers Farwell
Carol Bowers Farwell, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 20, 1910, in Caruthersville, Mo. A resident for 24 years, she was a retired executive for an advertising firm, an honorary state regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution, an honorary president of Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, Past National Chaplain Daughters of the American Colonists, and a member of the Mesquite Club, General Federation of Women's Clubs and Southern Nevada Salvation Army Women's Auxillary.
She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Farwell of Las Vegas; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Lyon of Ocala, Fla.; two brothers, Joseph Klauk and Charles Meredith Klauk, both of Homewood, Ill.; and one grandchild.
Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
William M. Fish Jr.
William M. Fish Jr., 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 22, 1938, in Glendale, Calif. A resident for 18 months, he was a construction superintendent and a member of the Santa Ana Elks and the Las Vegas Bottle Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Sabrina Montgomery of Chino Hills, Calif., and Lisa Croff of Las Vegas; and his mother, Joy Fish of Montclair, Calif.
Valley Crematory handled private arrangements.
Gudrun "Goodie" Hansberry
Gudrun 'Goodie' Hansberry, 91, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 27, 1908, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for three years, she was a retired secretary.
She is survived by one son, Ken Hansberry of Las Vegas; one brother, Berent Pedersen of Sarasota, Fla.; and two sisters, Irene Mackey of Stanhope, N.J., and Dorothy Pedersen of New York.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. with a 6 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Virginia Lee Helm
Virginia Lee Helm, 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Patterson, Calif. A resident for two years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Vinsko of Las Vegas; one son, William Wadsworth of California; one brother, Jack Wolfe of San Francisco; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Nevada Funeral Service, 725 S. Casino Center, Suite 208, is handling arrangements.

Rebecca Jane Klink
Rebecca Jane Klink, 48, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 27, 1951, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for eight months, she was a mortgage broker.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; two daughters, Jenifer Rebecca Mulvehill of Las Vegas and Victoria Lynn Klink of Hayward, Calif.; three sons, Timothy Daniel Mulvehill of San Diego, Michael Ray Klink and Anthony Joseph Klink, both of Kailuah, Hawaii; two brothers, Donald Palmer of Redmond, Ore., and Ronald Palmer of Citrus Heights, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Beverly Ann Lux
Beverly Ann Lux, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 30, 1932, in Nebraska. A resident for 11 years, she was a data input operator.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Terry and Benedict; one brother, Larry Wickersham; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Leona G. Miller
Leona G. Miller, 80, of Detroit died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 26, 1919, Newnan, Ga. A resident for six months, she was a retired government case worker and a member of Delta Sigma Theta.
She is survived by two sons, Woody Miller of Detroit and Steven Miller of Las Vegas; one brother, Ralph Alfred of Newnan; one sister, Janey Cleveland of Detroit; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Phillip E. Mincks
Phillip E. Mincks, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 9, 1919, in Iowa. A resident for 20 years, he was a retiree and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by one son, Fred Mincks of Keokuk, Iowa; five brothers, Tom Mincks, Pat Mincks, and Charlie Mincks, all of Des Moines, Iowa, and James Mincks of Tucson, Ariz., and Dean Mincks of Anaheim, Calif.; one sister, Alice Erickson of Des Moines; two guardians, Marilyn Louden and Annabelle Peterson, both of Las Vegas; and five granchildren.

Carol Mitchell
Carol Mitchell, 58, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 13, 1941, in Salt Lake City. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Mel; three sons, Scott Mitchell, Dennis Mitchell and Bryan Mitchell, all of Livermore, Calif.; two sisters, Claudia Hess of Salt Lake City and Marrilee Clark of Carbondale, Colo.; six brothers, Farrell Holding and Blair Holding, both of Kaysville, Utah, Brent Holding, Randy Holding, Kim Holding and Marty Holding, all of Salt Lake City; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. An additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Thursday in the LDS Tule Springs Stake Center, 3350 W. Alexander St. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.
Blanche Jessica Newmark
Blanche Jessica Newmark, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 17, 1921, in New York City. A resident for 28 years, she was a librarian at UNLV for 10 years and served in the cryptography department for the government during World War II breaking Japanese commercial codes.
She is survived by one son, Henry Newmark of West Hills, Calif.; one daughter, Joyce Newmark of New Jersy; and one grandchild.

Sorta Pardalis
Sorta Pardalis, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 25, 1917, in New York City. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired grocery store owner and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen.
Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to 11 a.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Bo Schmidt
Bo Schmidt, 41, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 26, 1957, in the Bronx, N.Y. A resident for seven years, he was a bartender for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Schmidt, two sons, Jack Schmidt and Max Schmidt, and one daughter, Juno Cavell, all of Henderson; his mother, Mary Schmidt, three sisters, Flo Mitaritonno, Mary Classi and Dorothy Cooley, all of New York City; and one brother, Bill McDonald of England.
Mass is scheduled 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Patricia Ann Slaughter
Patricia Ann Slaughter, 51, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 14, 1948, in Boulder City. A lifetime resident of Clark County, she worked at the Las Vegas Convention Center and was a member of Teamsters Local 631.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie, one daughter, Crystal Shumway, one son, Joesph Slaughter, and her father, Vernon Huffstatler, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Joy Loter of Eagle Valley, one brother, Terry Huffstatler of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
Ernest Lee Sumrall
Ernest Lee Sumrall, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born April 29, 1919, in Louisiana. A resident for one month, he was an aerospace engineer and was a member of the Masons and Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Adeline; two daughters, Kathleen Sumrall and Karen L. Deaton; and four grandchildren.

Margaret M. Thompson
Margaret M. Thompson, 83, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 31, 1916, in Omaha, Neb. She was a resident for 17 years.
She is survived by her husband, James; one son, Roderick Thompson of Las Vegas; one brother, Gene Liebentritt of Crawford Neb.; three grandchildren and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled 2 p.m. Friday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Ruth Bautista Torres
Ruth Bautista Torres, 76, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born July 4, 1923, in Texas. A resident for 76 years, she was a retired school custodian and a member of ESEA.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Kaplan of Henderson; one son, Irwin Torres, one sister, Annie Quintanilla, and two brothers, David Bautista and Billy Bautista, all of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was scheduled at noon today at St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.
Bertha M. Young
Bertha M. Young, 67, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 24, 1932, in Bakersfield, Calif. A resident for 39 years, she was a retired clerical worker for the state government.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Miller, Kristine Beatty and Michelle Burton, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Robert Bailey of Stockton, Calif.; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday in Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 1240 W. Adams St.
Bessie M. Zamora
Bessie M. Zamora, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 1, 1928, in New Orleans. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Romeo M.; two sons, Romeo M. Zamora II of Sacramento and Juan A. Zamora of Las Vegas; one daughter, Betrina M. Zamora of Las Vegas; three brothers, Moses Faciane of New Orleans, Lester Faciane of Los Angeles and Harold Faciane of Torrance, Calif.; three sisters, Eve Carpenter of Ojai, Calif., Irene St. Mary of Downey, Calif., and Doris Torregane of New Orleans; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Today with a 5:45 p.m. rosary in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Viators Catholic Church. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Raymond Zimmer
Raymond Zimmer, 93, of Las Vegas died Friday in Palm Desert, Calif. He was born Feb. 19, 1906, in Boise, Idaho. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired refrigeration engineer, a World War II Navy veteran and past president of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society.
He is survived by one daughter, Shirley Milam of La Quinta, Calif.; one son, Donald R. Zimmer of Henderson; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
