Money for homeless to be spent on housing

Henry Lucero, director of Project ReStart, a nonprofit organization that assists the homeless, said the goal is to help mentally ill homeless people overcome problems and learn to take care of themselves.
Lucero said the money will cover housing for 16 people at one time. But he's hopeful the program can be expanded in the future if it proves successful.
