Builders sued by homewners
Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999 | 11:19 a.m.
Northgate Homeowners Association Inc. sued Kaufman and Broad of Nevada and Las Vegas Paving Corp., alleging defects in its Northgate single-family homes at 4828 Mentor Drive off U.S. 95 at Craig in Las Vegas.
"It is a cosmetic issue related to the paving and not anything related to the actual homes. We were hopeful we could take care of everything through mediation instead of getting involved in a lawsuit," responded Amy Friend, Kaufman and Broad's spokeswoman.
Las Vegas Paving's manager Golden Welch could not be reached for comment.
