Frank Robert Adams
Frank Robert Adams, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 28, 1909, in Philadelphia. A resident for two years, he was a retired transportation truck driver.
He is survived by one daughter, Margaret Adams of Las Vegas; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Muriel Adams of Philadelphia, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. handled arrangements.
Anthony J. Alessi
Anthony J. Alessi, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 8, 1930, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 18 years, he was a retired steel crane operator and a peace time war national guard.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; three daughters, Rosemary Congero of Las Vegas, Pauline Alessi of Berkeley and Maria Bessing of Amherst; two sons, Anthony of Las Vegas and Charles of Lilburn, Ga.; two sisters, Grace Grear and Barbara Alessi, both of Las Vegas; six brothers, Dick and Ronald, both of Buffalo, Robert of Las Vegas, Dominic of Lancaster, Calif., Tom of Downing, Wis., and Philip Liberatore of W. Seneca, N.Y.
Mass will be celebrated Tuesday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Call the church for service time. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Nettie Campbell
Nettie Campbell, 92, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 4, 1907, in Bentry, W.Va. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita Rayner of Henderson and Juanita Whitmore of Las Vegas; one son, Benjamin Campbell of Gaylord, Mich.; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 1 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, Eastern. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Grace B. Collins
Grace B. Collins, 77, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born July 4, 1922, in Utah. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sisters, Elaine Taylor of Salt Lake City and Clo Barnes of Moraga, Calif.; one brother, Conrad Bowman of San Francisco; and nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Wednesday at the LDS Church on Pennwood and Arville. Burial will be in Salt Lake City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North is handling arrangements.
Emmett LeKander
Emmett LeKander, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 29, 1913. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired Air Force Staff Sargent, a World War II veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War.
He is survived by one nephew, Gene Wilkerson and several long time close friends.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. handled arrangements.
John James Stiglianese
John James Stiglianese, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 17, 1925, in New York City. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired postal worker and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dominica Stiglianese, two sons, John Stiglianese and Thomas Stiglianese, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Agnes Baccellieri of Las Vegas and Terry Amos of Sun City, Fla.; one brother, Jack Stiglianese of New York City; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm, Eastern. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Cemetery.
Ida Bell Thomas
Ida Bell Thomas, 100, of Las Vegas died Dec. 13 in a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1899, in Doublin, Ga. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one stepdaughter, Maria Warmley of Memphis, Tenn.; one stepson, Ira Thomas of Chicago; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. graveside services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. is handling arrangements.
Barbara M Weiss
Barbara M Weiss, 57, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 6, 1942, in Michigan. A long time resident, she was a paralegal.
She is survived by one son, Eric Weiss of Las Vegas.
No local services. Burial will be in Florida. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson handled arrangements.
