Former Rancho High standout takes over Grizzlies coaching job

Feeling the Vancouver Grizzlies were better than their 4-18 record, president and general manager Stu Jackson fired coach Brian Hill. Former Rancho High standout Lionel Hollins, the only remaining member of the coaching staff from the Grizzlies' inaugural 1995 season, took over on an interim basis for the rest of the season. Vancouver has lost four straight and 14 of 15.
