Two Vegas auto dealerships sold

Auto retailer Sonic Automotive Inc. acquired Las Vegas-based Honda West and Volvo of Las Vegas in its ongoing expansion effort.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based company acquired the Honda dealership, along with 28 California dealerships, as part of its purchase of San Francisco-based FirstAmerica Automotive Inc.
Volvo of Las Vegas was purchased separately.
Terms of both deals were not disclosed.
This year, Sonic has acquired 71 dealerships with total revenue of about $3 billion. The company operates 159 franchises and 30 collision repair centers in 12 states.
