Jan Thomas quitting as Senate secretary

Thomas' state government career spans 33 years. Other posts have included key assignments at the state Gaming Control Board.
She'll be replaced by Jesse Clift, the media clerk on the Senate front desk during legislative sessions.
Senate Majority Leader Bill Raggio, R-Reno, praised Thomas on Tuesday, saying, "She has done an excellent job and will be missed by everyone."
