1st Race -- Sweet Ruhl - Dueled lead and weakened to 4th in last, won on-the-pace while claimed before that, drops a level, P. Val./Mitchell combo. Blond Del - Just missed with game try when 2nd by a neck in last, runner up in prior pair of outings, won four races back, sharp right now. Value Play -- Six Times a Lady
2nd Race -- Maestra Mia - Dueled lead and held 2nd in last, claimed while 4th before that, won prior pair of outings, Black back. Daisy - 3rd in last, in the quinella 7 of 13 starts this year with a pair of victories, blinkers come off and Puglisi on for this trip. Value Play -- Tuta Niche
3rd Race -- Ledbetter Heights - Off slow and made up over 10-lengths to just miss when 2nd by a neck in last, broke maiden at a mile before that, Flores returns on Drysdale trainee, served ample warning. Long Run - 5-wide while dueling lead and outfinished while 4th first time routing in last, sharp works over this track, Eddie D. takes over, better trip this outing puts right there. Value Play -- World On A String
4th Race -- A Good Dancer - 3-wide from outside post and runner up in last, 4ht before that, runner up in both starts at this trip over this track, third time could be the graduation charm. R Aly - 3rd at this trip and track in last, 4th at this trip before that, runner up at this trip in both Fairplex outings, Eddie D. stays on Van Berg trainee. Value Play -- Old and Wicked
5th Race -- Select Few - 4-wide and gave way in last, nice 3rd for a tag before that, adds blinkers and jockey Berrio now, good spot for action. Roncevalles - No speed and no threat in last, overmatched in recent trio of outings, drops into competitive spot and Solis takes over on Stute trainee, expect turnaround effort. Value Play -- Imaginary Line
6th Race -- Pizza N Beer - Won battle to wire in photo finish but lost victory through disqualification in last, vast improvement on lawn, Ramsammy returns on Baffert trainee to make diploma ammends. Sharp Looking Dude - Best-of-rest distant 3rd first time routing in last, 3rd for a tag before that, bred to like lawn and gets good rail post here, Blanc becomes fouth different rider in as many outings. Value Play -- Calamari
7th Race -- Another Star - Horse-for-course returns to favorite track, in the quinella in all four Hollypark outings with all three career victories, 2-for-2 at this distance, had a pair of stakes tighteners, fits here. Casey Griffin - Won first two career starts at Del Mar then traveled to Indiana for decent 4th in their Derby in last, working well since, Desormeaux takes over for sidelined Antley on Cerin trainee, good spot for action. Value Play -- Dig for It
8th Race -- Timber Yield - Waited room and just missed when 3rd by a neck over this course in last, sharp works since raced, Flores/Baffert tandem, must overcome outside post, tipped mit in last. Kolob - 3-wide and pressed pace, made bid then outfinished to 4th over this course first time routing in last, takes blinkers off and adds Pincay for this trip, like top pick must overcome outside post. Value Play -- Ganador
