twitterLV engineering firm expands with acquisition

Las Vegas-based engineering firm Pentacore acquired Engineering Planning Group of Salt Lake City.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The merged companies will now operate under the name Pentacore Engineering Planning Group. Pentacore President Gary Spinelink cited Engineering Planning's experience in wetlands work as a major benefit of the merger.
Engineering Planning Group has 16 employees, while Pentacore employs 187 people in Nevada and more than 230 people in five western states and the Philippines.
