Strategist - Dueled lead and held to win while claimed in last, in the quinella 12 of 19 Hollypark starts with 5 victories, 3-for-8 this year, hustling Puglisi stays for new connections. Value Play -- Joshua Knight
2nd Race -- Amberrosa - Dueled lead and weakened to 4th in last, dueled lead and game 2nd before that, recent bullet drill since raced, reunites with Pedroza here, a diploma factor throughout. Lil's Encore - Four wide with no late bid in last, 5 wide 2nd before that, gets hustling Espinoza takes over, could trip out for graduation in this spot. Value Play -- Halo Ryan
3rd Race -- Minor Details - Just broke maiden over this course in last, 2nd up on Santa Anita grass before that, only other in the money finish was a debut 2nd sprinting on this course, World's winningest Pincay now. Burning Hope - Four wide 5th first time routing on Bay Meadow's main in last, broke maiden sprinting at Anita before that, breeding suggests a liking for turf, draws good inner post, Nakatani takes over. Value Play -- Aly McBear
4th Race -- Harding Park - Came up empty in Bay Meadows allowance outing in last, won prior pair of dirt sprints, ships south at competitive level now, attracts Solis for this. Double Header - Returns off freshening since Oak Tree, outrun and overmatched in last three outings following debut maiden breaker four races back over this track, Gomez takes over on Sadler trainee. Value Play -- Grey Blunder
5th Race -- Saint's Honor - Dueled lead and caught late when comeback 2nd down the hill at Anita off 7-month layoff in last, four workouts since raced with a pair of moves over this course followed by most recent pair of bullet drills, had race, beware. Riverside - Won on Santa Anita lawn at Oak Tree off 7-month layoff in last, debut 2nd down the hill at Anita before that, steady works since raced with most recent 6-furlong bullet drill on the 6th, bounce is only concern. Value Play -- Devil's Tower
6th Race -- Hoover Tower - Best of rest with debut 3rd in last, trio of drills since raced, Desormeaux returns on Hess trainee, race experience now, good post again, best of known runners here. Tribunal - First-time starter by Deputy Minister, swift solid works with a trio of bullet drills on the tab, most recent move second-best of 6 on the day at 7-panels on the 3rd, trainer Baffert tabs P. 7th Race -- Kaaching - Sped to gate-to-wire victory over this course and trip in last, won 3 of most recent 4 outings, in the quinella 7 of 9 lifetime starts with 5 victories, hustling Puglisi again, repeat within range. Naughty N Haughty - Pressed pace 3 wide and weakened to 5th routing over this course in last, won Bay Meadows sprint before that, in the quinella 4 of most recent 6 starts with a pair of wins, good inside post, a factor throughout. 8th Race -- Manistique - Outrun in Breeders' Cup outing in last, won Grade II Anita stakes before that, in the quinella 5 of 6 starts at this distance with 4 wins, 5-for-5 at Hollypark, good spot to rebound. Gourmet Girl - Returns to races with solid worktab, Graded stakes winner in the quinella 6 of 7 Hollywood starts with 4 victories, won last two times from off-the-shelf, beaten by top pick in their last three meetings though. Value Play -- Snowberg
9th Race -- November Sky - Off slowly and outrun in debut in last, drops to claimer off that effort, draws good post, well placed now, had race, Gomez stays on Cassidy trainee, improvement for graduation within reach. Racing Rita - Held 3rd in last, debut 3rd from rail post before that, draws better post for third start of career, Delahoussaye takes over on Stute trainee, third time could be the diploma charm. Value Play -- Lady Blushable
