Players Network of Las Vegas said it signed a one-year contract with Ameristar Hotel Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa, its first contract outside Nevada.
The company will offer its television service in all of the property's hotel rooms. The hotel is adjacent to a riverboat casino, now the largest in the state of Iowa.
"This is the first step in what we hope will be a long-term relationship with Ameristar Casinos," said Mark Bradley, president of Players Network.
Players Network offers customized, gaming-oriented programming delivered to casino visitor hotel rooms through closed-circuit television. The company also recently launched an Internet service and hopes to incorporate its programming into this site.
