Eyeglasses collected for Lions clubs
Charleston Plaza, at the corner of Charleston Boulevard and Burnham Avenue, is hosting a "Do You See What I See?' promotion for local Lions clubs.
Shoppers are invited to drop off unwanted eyeglasses or sunglasses at the shopping center to receive a food coupon.
Children can enter a coloring contest depicting Santa in glasses. Call (949) 494-8312.
Blood, bone marrow drive scheduled
A blood and bone marrow drive is being held to benefit Justin Beam, a 12-year-old Las Vegas resident with a form of leukemia rare among young people.
The drive will be held 3 to 9 p.m. Dec. 16 at the El Dorado Mobile Estates clubhouse, 4525 W. Twain Ave.

A 55 Alive Drivers Course
is being offered from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday by AARP at the Senior Advantage Resource Center, 9310 Sun City Blvd., Suite 101. Call 363-1150.
