Lady Rebels top Denver

Kinesha Davis and Linda Frohlich recorded double-doubles for UNLV as the Lady Rebels continued their monthlong road trip by defeating Denver University 74-65 Monday night.

Davis led all scorers with 26 points and added 12 rebounds for UNLV (4-2), while Frohlich had 16 points and 13 rebounds. Constance Jinks contributed 14 points, while Carlesa Dixon pulled down 10 rebounds.

Denver (2-2) was led by Michaela Pavlickova's 21 points and 11 rebounds.

UNLV led 47-35 with 11:05 left in the game when Denver made a run to cut the Lady Rebels' lead to four points at 55-51 with 4:15 remaining. Denver would get no closer as UNLV held on for the win.

UNLV travels to Reno Saturday night to play the Wolf Pack and goes to the Bahama Islands for a Dec. 18-22 tournament in Nassau. The Lady Rebels don't have a home game until Dec. 28 when they take on Cal State Fullerton.
