Durango 94, Chaparral 60: J.P. Ablahani torched visiting Chaparral for 27 points and added eight rebounds and seven assists.

Clark 73, Basic 49: Manuel Perez scored 26 points and Charles Henderson finished with 18 point and 11 rebounds as the host Chargers opened with a win.

Rancho 47, Centennial 42: Deshawn Campbell scored 17 points to help visiting Rancho hold off the first-year Falcons.

Mojave 93, Eldorado 86: Reggie Willoughby scored 28 points and Elijah Smith added 24 as the host Rattlers opened with a win. Kevin Fane scored a game-high 35 points for Eldorado in the losing cause.
