Silver Bandits sign Ellis

The Las Vegas Silver Bandits of the International Basketball League signed former NBA player Harold Ellis to a one-year contract on Wednesday. The 6-5 forward played two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers and the '97-98 season with the Denver Nuggets.

* The Silver Bandits' inaugural game that was played against the San Diego Stingrays on Nov. 26 will be aired in its entirety on Dec. 4 at 8 p.m., Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. on Cox cable channel 48. The original broadcast was prematurely cut off due to an error by a satellite uplink provider. The next Silver Bandits live broadcast will be on Dec. 18 on channel 48 at 7 p.m. when the team plays the Stingrays.
