Red Rock Community Bank opened for business this week in Summerlin.
Located at 10000 W. Charleston Ave. in the new headquarters of Howard Hughes Corp., the bank is the second of three community banks planned by parent company Nevada Community Bancorporation.
In September, the company opened Desert Community Bank at 3777 S. Pecos McLeod; next month, the company plans to open Black Rock Community Bank at 1700 W. Horizon Ridge in Henderson.
Chief operating officer Tom Mangione said Red Rock Community Bank opened with a capitalization of $8 million, and eight full-time employees. Mangione said all three banks will focus on serving small to mid-sized businesses, as well as private client customers.
