Revenues up for LV communications firm

Revenues were up 79 percent in the third quarter over last year for Chadmoore Wireless Group Inc., a telecommunications company based in Las Vegas.

The net loss for the quarter was $2.9 million, 5 cents a share, compared with a $2.4 million loss, 5 cents a share, in the third quarter of 1998.

Robert Moore, Chadmoore's chief executive officer, said the loss was due to slowing subscriber growth and the continued construction of the company's infrastructure.

Chadmoore is based in Las Vegas, but does not have wireless operations in Nevada.
