1st Race -- Enzo The Baker - Three-wide 3rd in last, 3-wide 3rd before that, won half of prior 6 starts, drops again and stretches out now, P. Val. stays on Mitchell trainee. Air Force Wins - Finished 4th to snap a four-race win streak in last, 2 of 4 prior wins were at this distance, needs to overcome outside post, reunites with winning rider Desormeaux here. Value Play -- Mustang Pilot
2nd Race -- Mystic Town - First-time starter by Seattle Slew offspring, solid series of works with a pair of bullet drills on the tab with most recent a gate move on the 19th, Flores/Baffert team. Climate - Slow into stride, rushed up to press pace early and faded to debut 4th from rail post in last, pair of nice works since, draws better post now, McCarron takes over on Ellis trainee. Value Play -- Fishbecks
3rd Race -- Salben - Dueled for lead and weakened in last, steadied at the start and stalked then weakened before that, won three races back, reunites with winning rider Delahoussaye and drops for a tag now. Gambling Demon - Returns to races with solid Hollypark worktab that includes a pair of bullet drills from most recent trio of moves, broke maiden at Golden Gate off the shelf, needs clean trip from rail post. Value Play -- Too Costly
4th Race -- Air Force One - Drops to claimer for return to races, no threat in last three outings, 3rd and debut 2nd on Northern California fairs this summer, faces easy foes here, not much to beat. Thread The Needle - Third in debut at Bay Meadows early November in last, most recent bullet Bay Meadows drill on the 23rd since raced, ships south now, draws good post and Eddie D. says he'll ride. Value Play -- Apollo Puede
5th Race -- Salish Bull - Rated with the lead early then weakened to 4th in marathon turf outing in last, close 3rd before that, 2nd three races back, Pincay stays on Dollace trainee, good spot for action. Radevore - Beat top pick with marathon grass win in last, 2-for-3 at this distance, Nakatani stays on Frankel trainee, should attend the pace here as well, repeat within reach. Value Play -- Innamorato
6th Race -- High Wire Red - Dueled for lead and 3rd at Del Mar in last, debut 3rd at Golden Gate before that, returns to races with decent works, Flores returns on Moger trainee, good spot to get diploma. Kalihi Maggie - Pressed pace while 5-wide from outside post and 2nd with best career effort in last, outrun in prior pair of lifetime outings, Nakatani becomes the fourth different rider in as many starts, hmmmm. Value Play -- Motivation
7th Race -- Hookedonthefeelin - Pressed, got brief lead and tired to 4th off 6-month layoff in last, promising filly won prior three lifetime starts that included Grade II Landaluce Stakes at Hollypark, tries grass with breeding to love lawn, had race, ready. Aviate - Shortens up for this outing, in the quinella 7 of 15 lifetime turf starts with a trio of victories and 4 of 6 over this course with a pair of wins, adds blinkers for speed, Gomez stays on West trainee. Value Play -- Bountiful Dreamer
8th Race -- Pickright - Even debut outing when 5th from inside post in last, drops a couple levels now, draws outside post here, Flores stays on Baffert trainee, could grab diploma with marginal improvement in this. Delmarlady - Late bid for 3rd in last, 4th in prior pair of outings, makes tenth start for graduation, but, like top pick finds soft nightcap to try for diploma, Gomez will hustle on Greenman trainee. Value Play -- Fantasy Leap
