LAKE MEAD: Anglers are finding that the fishing for striped bass continues to decline as the lake's water temperature has dropped into the low 60s, according to the Nevada Division of Wildlife.
John Hutchings, NDOW biologist at Lake Mead, said anglers are catching small numbers of stripers by fishing at depths of 80 feet or more in Las Vegas Bay.
Live shad netted from Las Vegas Wash and Hemenway Harbor has been the most productive bait.
LAKE MOHAVE: Striped bass fishing was good over the weekend on the Arizona side of Davis Basin several miles below Cottonwood Cove. Boaters who were drifting and trolling with anchovies were catching stripers that ranged from one to four pounds.
EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR: Fishing is slow because of the cold water temperature. Ice is being found in the morning around the edge of the lake, but is coming off during the day.
