FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Linda Frohlich led all players with 27 points and 10 rebounds and UNLV had two other players in double-figure scoring as it defeated the Northern Arizona women's basketball team 71-57 Wednesday night at the Rolle Activity Center.
Erin Johansson contributed 12 points on 4-of-8 3-point shooting and Kinesha Davis added 11 as UNLV improved its record to 3-2. Frohlich also had seven steals and four assists.
Northern Arizona (1-3) was led by Kara Kleinhenz, who had 16 points.
UNLV used a 15-3 run in the first half to take a 10-point lead, and led 32-25 at halftime.
The Lady Rebels opened the second half with an 11-1 run and led by 17 points with 15:31 left. NAU cut the Lady Rebels' lead to nine at 46-37 with 11:42 left, but that was as close as the Lumberjacks would get as UNLV recorded the 14-point win.
The Lady Rebels next face the Denver Pioneers on the road at 6 p.m. Monday.
