Mother of three kidnapped at gunpoint

A history of domestic problems between the parents of three children led to a kidnapping at gunpoint at a northeast Las Vegas business on Monday, Metro Police said.
Police were still looking for Troy Oden and Vanessa Hall this morning.
Hall, 25, was finishing her workday at Dimension Beauty Supply, 5000 E. Bonanza Road, when her ex-boyfriend entered the shop with a gun about 6:45 p.m., Metro Police said.
Troy Oden, the 29-year-old father of Hall's three children, then forced Hall into his waiting car and sped off before patrol officers arrived at the business, police spokesman Steve Meriwether said.
"We were already looking for him for a break-in at the victim's house in October," Meriwether said. "There is a history of problems between the two."
Hall had a temporary protective order against Oden, who is a convicted felon for robbery, Meriwether said.
Police believe Oden drove off with Hall in a 1991 Toyota with Nevada license plate 766-JB4.
The FBI is also keeping an eye on the case, Las Vegas branch spokesman Joe Dickey said.
"We are actively looking into this kidnapping and if necessary will file an unlawful flight charge in the case," Dickey said.
The FBI would become the lead investigative agency if it is determined that Oden has taken Hall out of state.
