Las Vegas lawyers listed on Internet

AttorneyGuide.com, a free Internet website that provides legal resources and lawyer referrals, has been created by the bar associations of Clark and Washoe counties.
Initially launched in September as a resource in Northern Nevada, the site was revised to include Las Vegas-area information beginning today.
The brainchild of G. David Robertson, a senior partner of the Las Vegas law firm of Robertson & Benevento, AttorneyGuide.com is maintained by the two bar associations.
The site has background information on several categories of law with frequently asked questions on bankruptcy, criminal law, employment, divorce, injury and several other topics. The site also links to other free legal research sites.
It also has a lawyer referral section in which users can answer questions on a form and determine what local attorneys would be best qualified to handle a case. Lawyers pay an annual fee of between $600 and $1,800, depending on the length of the listing and the number of links they receive, to be included on the site.
Clark County Bar Association President Nancy Allf said the site is the first of its kind in the nation.
