Earl Cantwell

Earl Cantwell, 80, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1918, in Toronto. A resident for eight years, he was a retired banker.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys; one daughter, Christine Cantwell, and one sister, Edna Witkowski, both of Las Vegas.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Yoshiko Clark

Yoshiko Clark, 65, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 30, 1933, in Japan. A resident for seven years, she was an airline sales associate.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony; two sons, Mario Palabrica Jr. of Hawaii and Antonio Palabrica of California; two daughters, Marlene DeMello and Antoinette Paith, both of Hawaii; one brother, Yutaka Motomura of California; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 7-9:30 a.m. Thursday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will follow in Hites Funeral Services. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Mary Louise Delcourt

Mary Louise Delcourt, 84, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 24, 1915, in Superior, Wis. A resident for six years, she was a retired electronics technician in the aerospace industry.

She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Paldi of Henderson and Dorelee Drinkwine of Gardnerville; one son, John Delcourt of LaPalma, Calif.; four sisters, Pearl Rohan of Corvallis, Ore., Ernestine Penoski of Milwaukee, Lucille Roehl of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., and Doris Bovee of Superior, Wis.; two brothers, Raoul "Fran" Bedard of Greenville, S.C., and Louis "Bill" Bedard of Phoenix; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4-7:30 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Ronald L. Johnson

Ronald L. Johnson, 56, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1942, in Chicago. A resident for one year, he was a Citizens Area Transit employee.

He is survived by his wife, Gail M.; one daughter, Rhonda M. Ealey, one son, Timothy L. Johnson, and one brother, Donald Johnson, all of Chicago; three sisters, Gloria Tinsley of Harvey, Ill., and Rose Andersen and Marjorie Cobb, both of Chicago; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Muriel Kaplan

Muriel Kaplan, 72, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born May 2, 1927, in Minnesota. A resident for many years, she was a state representative.

She is survived by one brother, Allan Kaplan of Minnesota.

Audrey Noel Miller

Audrey Noel Miller, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Montreal. A resident for 39 years, she was a 28-year Centel/Sprint employee -- most recently a regulatory department manager, a member of the Desert Life Member Club and Telephone Pioneers of America.

She is survived by three sisters, Jane Stokes of Las Vegas, Lee Wright of Sacramento, Calif., and Roberta Gilpin of Belfast, Maine.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Epitacia Santa Ana Miranda

Epitacia Santa Ana Miranda, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 23, 1922, in the Philippines. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Dan Miranda of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Phillip Moniz

Phillip Moniz, 30, of Reno died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 25, 1969, in California. A former Las Vegas resident for 25 years, he was a construction worker.

He is survived by one daughter, Krystal Moniz, and one son, Aaron Moniz, both of Las Vegas; his parents, Darlene and John Moniz of Aptos, Calif.; and one brother, Joseph Moniz of Reno.

Mary Moser

Mary Moser, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born May 5, 1910, in Guilford, Mo. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Jayne E. Miller, and one sister, Mabele Bean, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Anthony Nigro

Anthony Nigro, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local health care center. He was born Jan. 2, 1920, in Bari, Italy. A resident for six years, he was a baker.

He is survived by two sons, Louis Nigro of Las Vegas and Dominic Nigro of Apple Valley, Calif.; one sister, Lena Monteleone of Bari; one brother, Nicola Nigro of Milan, Italy; and seven grandchildren.

Joseph Poli

Joseph Poli, 89, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 7, 1910, in New York City. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine; one daughter, Dolores Bertini of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Albano of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Marge DeMonte of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one brother, Anthony Poli of Brooklyn; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Rosie Puckett

Rosie Puckett, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born March 13, 1916, in Oklahoma. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Patsy Smith of Las Vegas.

Louvina Rawls

Louvina Rawls, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. She was born Aug. 27, 1913, in New Iberia, La. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Doolittle Senior Club.

Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Lyle Wayne Stovall

Lyle Wayne Stovall, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 13, 1927, in Las Vegas. A resident for 10 years, he was a real estate appraiser and a retired Army chief warrant officer.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; two daughters, Patricia Stovall of Las Vegas and Peggy Stovall of California; two brothers, George Stovall Jr. of Lincoln, Neb., and Gerald Stovall of Kearney, Neb.; and one sister, Evelyn Stubbendeck of Elmwood, Neb.

Graveside services will be noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

James W. Talley

James W. Talley, 82, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 15, 1917, in Dover, Ark. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired bartender and a Coast Guard veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Pat Sandoval; one brother, Lee; one sister, Greta; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Harry Weeden

Harry Weeden, 72, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 23, 1927, in Colorado. A resident for many years, he was a federal government electronics technician.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis.

Mescal White

Mescal White, 76, of Mesquite died Aug. 21 in Mesquite. He was born July 18, 1923, in Gillette, Wyo. A former Las Vegas resident for 22 years and more recently a resident of Mesquite for three years, he was an insurance agent for 10 years at John Hancock Insurance Co. and a World War II Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Patricia; one daughter, Deborah Zeilman of Sarasota, Fla.; one son, Dennis White of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Linda AuCoin and Jakkie Wilson, both of Kansas; and two grandchildren.

Willard L. Wilder

Willard L. Wilder, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 8, 1940, in Bloomington, Ill. A resident for several years, he was a welder.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene; two daughters, Christina Wilder and Sandra Wilder; and one granddaughter, Sarah, all of Las Vegas.
