Letter: Where is Brady’s anti-gun rage now?
Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1999 | 9:36 a.m.
Since then, Jim Brady has become the anti-gun poster boy, dragged out and displayed to generate sympathy any time a new (and useless) anti-gun bill was proposed or enacted.
Recently, John Hinckley Jr., who actually pulled the trigger, was released on "supervised leave" (He's MUCH better now). The always-vociferous Sarah has been strangely silent on this latest travesty of justice.
Repeated e-mails have been sent to Handgun Control Inc., asking when/where Mrs. Brady would comment on this and what actions she will take to correct this miscarriage. To date, there has been nothing but silence.
One would have thought that Mrs. Brady would have turned some of her professed outrage from an inanimate piece of metal to the man who crippled her husband, but evidently she has been too busy basking in the limelight of the latest shooting in L.A., crying for yet more gun control.
Hypocrisy, thy name is Sarah.
