CARSON CITY -- Gov. Kenny Guinn today named Radha Chanderraj, a certified public accountant from Las Vegas, to the state Gaming Commission.
Chanderraj succeeds Bill Curran, who served 10 years as chairman on the commission.
The governor said everyone owed Curran a great deal for his service on the commission, and he added the state will be well served by Chanderraj with her accounting experience.
She has lived in Las Vegas at least since 1988 and currently oversees the finances for a company called Heart Specialists, a Las Vegas-based cardiology practice. She has extensive background in budget preparation and statistical analysis.
