LV tops LV company’s trip booking list

Travelscape.com issued a list of the top 10 destinations for travelers booking their trips on its Internet site in July.

They are:

1. Las Vegas

2. Orlando

3. New York

4. San Francisco

5. Chicago

6. Los Angeles

7. Miami

8. Boston

9. San Diego

10. Seattle

The Las Vegas company said it serves most major U.S. and European cities. But the results are likely influenced by Travelscape.com's strong operations in Las Vegas, where it books rooms at nearly 50 hotels.

Travelscape.com said it booked more than 320,000 room nights in Las Vegas in 1998 and has seen business pick up as it has been booking nearly 100,000 Las Vegas room nights per month this summer.
