Letter: Younger Bush has no chance
Friday, Aug. 20, 1999 | 12:48 p.m.
George W. Bush is running for president of the United States of America. And believe it or not this Bush, as his father did, also says read my lips, no new taxes.
It seems to me that was the way the senior Bush started out, but it ended up the taxes were raised, not lowered.
And who was the lucky guy who got rooked? The little guy, who else?
Like his father, he has no answers that make sense to any questions asked. And of course he would love to play the hero, but he wasn't a war hero because he was not in the service.
Read my lips, Bush Jr. has no chance of winning.
