Information fair
The Galleria at Sunset mall, 1300 Sunset Road, presents its "Back to Health Fair," featuring information booths and healthy activities, Saturday and Sunday during mall hours. 'Gong' challenge
Las Vegan Icy Ilustre is one of 11 acts appearing on "The Extreme Gong $10,000 Tournament of Talent," which airs live at 8 p.m. Tuesday on the Game Show Network (Cox cable channel 68). Illustre, a singer, competes against performers from across the country who qualified for the one-hour season finale in regional competitions. Viewers will be able to call 900-numbers or vote online to keep an act on stage or to dole out the fatal gong.
Young Artists Perform
The Young Artists Recital Series presents pianist Christine Melnichuk and lyric soprano Rebecca Peterson at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Reed Whipple Cultural Center, 821 Las Vegas Blvd. North. The series highlights musicians ages 16-21. Admission is free. Call 229-2321.
