Real estate company founder dies of cancer

His company was the largest in northern Nevada and was among the 400 largest in the nation.

Myers was a past president of the Reno-Sparks Association of Realtors and the Nevada Association of Realtors and was a director of the National Association of Realtors.

He is survived by his wife Annie, stepdaughters Emily Watts and Tara Sprague of Reno, sons William III of Los Angeles and Michael of San Clemente, Calif., and daughters Katherine Weichers of Sparks and Laura Myers, news editor for national security and international affairs with the Associated Press in Washington, D.C.
