Murphy’s fashion statement banned

Sandy Murphy says she no longer will be painting the electronic ankle bracelet given to her as part of her house arrest.
Officials told Murphy to remove the tan paint from the $300 black bracelet or be responsible for damaging county property.
Murphy had painted the bracelet tan to match an outfit she wore Friday.
On Tuesday, the bracelet was covered up because Murphy wore a black pants suit.
She said she used nail polish remover to restore the monitoring device's color.
But Murphy, known to have an eye for high fashion, said she's no longer worried the bracelet will clash with her expensive duds: Most of her outfits are black.
