The State Gaming Control Board has cleared WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries Inc., to sell its Winning Bid video gaming machine in Nevada.
Winning Bid is a nine-line video game available in nine-, 18-, 45- and 90-coin versions. The theme of the second-screen bonus game is an auction for items such as a pearl necklace, vase and antique lamp.
WMS executive Kevin Verner said the game is designed to capitalize on the public's interest in Internet auctions and websites.
"Operators can choose from a wide range of coin configurations while the player selects which auction item will be sold and who will place the first bid," he said. "Interactive bonusing features and highly entertaining game play make Winning Bid a strong addition to our product lineup."
