Lee had stopped his black Chevrolet Impala at the intersection of Carey Avenue and Martin Luther King, when another car, described by witnesses as either a four-door Nissan or Honda, pulled up next to him just before 11 a.m., police said.

Police seek info on bar holdups
Metro Police are asking for the public's help in solving two unrelated bar robberies.
The first was at Favorites Bar, 4110 S. Maryland Parkway, on Feb. 27, when a man entered the bar and assaulted the bartender, who suffered facial fractures.
Police believe the robber was in his late 20s, about 6-feet tall and 200 pounds. He was described as white, with brown hair worn in a ponytail and a muscular build, police said.
Another bar was robbed about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. The man police believe committed this robbery waited until the last customer left the bar, then brandished a handgun and made off with an undisclosed amount of money from the bar's office.
The suspect is described as in his mid 20s, 5-feet-5-inches tall, 140 pounds. Police say he is black with long sideburns and an earring in his right ear.
Anyone with information on these robberies is asked to call Secret Witness at 385-5555, or Metro's robbery detail at 229-3591.
