Letter: Sun breast-feeding article informative
Friday, Aug. 13, 1999 | 8:51 a.m.
Thank you for the article in the July 31 issue of the Las Vegas Sun about La Leche League, breast-feeding and the World Walk for Breastfeeding.
We are delighted about the breast-feeding exposure in the Las Vegas area.
La Leche League is run by volunteer leaders who have personal breast-feeding experience and are accredited to answer mothers' questions.
La Leche League emphasizes the joys of breast-feeding while they inform and encourage mothers who wish to nurse their babies, whether for six days, six weeks, six months or beyond.
Mothers often find that one of the advantages of breast-feeding is that they can go anywhere with their babies and breast-feed inconspicuously.
